Bell Group Irrigation and Lighting takes care of annual backflow testing.
What are backflow devices? How do we test them and keep them maintained?
- A backflow prevention device prevents hazardous substances from inadvertently being drawn into the drinking water system, contaminating it.
- All backflow prevention devices must be tested once a year. By certified and approved testers. (Bell Group Irrigation and Lighting)
- Should be winterized in fall/winter to save from costly repairs.(On irrigation systems)
Do we need to be home for you to test?
- No, most all backflow devices in NC/SC are located outside on the property. Our team of certified testers will test and then submit the form to the correct water purveyor.
